Read Treehouse Morning Brief · readtreehouse.com

Effective October 26, 2026

The program

Read Treehouse (readtreehouse.com) is operated by Read Tree House LLC, owned by Scott and Kelly Read. The Read Treehouse Morning Brief is a private, non-commercial text message sent by the family's website to members of the household who sign up for it. It is one short message each morning with that day's schedule, reminders and weather for the household. It never contains advertising or marketing.

Who can sign up

Only adult household members with a Read Treehouse account can sign up. Each person signs in to the website, enters their own mobile number on the Actions page, and checks a box agreeing to receive the brief. No one is signed up on someone else's behalf, and consent is not a condition of anything.

How often

Usually one message a day, around 6:00 AM Eastern. Occasionally a second message the same day if a schedule changes or severe weather is expected. Message frequency varies.

Cost

The family does not charge for the brief. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.

Stopping and help

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your mobile number and consent are used only to send the brief. They are never sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, except the service that delivers the messages (Amazon Web Services). See the Privacy Policy.
